Saying that he was over the top and he shouldn't have taken his opinion out on me, etc. etc., and that when he want to Borders the other day, he went to the thriller section and saw all these bookcovers with swastikas all over them, because they're Nazi conspiracy stories and people love those...
So I turned the pictures back in and said, "You will grade these as art, as photographs, and for their composition and exposure, and Not for any political statements you might not agree with."
And he took them.
Thanks to everyone for their support. Mosuke, Jojo, Jheti, Marc, Rika, Phyrnyt, Umbric, Koromiel, and Ari... I seriously have a hard time standing up for myself, and to have you all backing me up for this meant a great deal to me. It gave me the confidence to talk to the head of the department about it, and she dealt with it accordingly.
