Line of d00m
Okay, so after failing to get anywhere close to finishing the costume, we decided it would be okay to do the hand sewing in line. Packed a few things into my tiny concert purse (small, orange, and COVERED in button pins from everywhere) and went to get

After getting lost, calling her dad and having him tell us FROM TEXAS how to get back to the 101, we made it to the venue. Found parking and got in line. Began sewing. LIKE CRAZY.

Once the sun started to set, everyone started needing to go to the bathroom, and WOW the restaurant let us do so. And guess what's on the way to the bathroom? A nice upper level view of the stage. AND GUESS WHO WAS DOING SOUND CHECK?? The BOYS. So HoB was only letting us go in two at a time, no loitering, so when the first pair came out, they told us all that we really. REALLY needed to go pee. Our bladders instantly went to full capacity. ;D
A little while later I pretty much had the thing done to satisfaction for the night, and

A few more trips to the bathroom later and the doors opened. Security practically took a seam ripper to my purse to inspect the contents, so I'm glad I took my camera back to the car. Much as I would have wanted photos with the boys. :(
Actual concert wtf
Apparently the autograph rumors were half true; one had to purchase SOMETHING at the show in order to qualify for the autograph signing, and only the first 100 people doing so would get the chance. So we risked not getting front row for actually MEETING them. ^^ I bought a RE;BORN (semi colon wtf XD) Tshirt, Incoherants bought Shion, and Firenaux got a wristband. Yay, we made the first 100. Headed back to the stage on the left side because there was a decent opening in the far far FAR corner of the crowd, but then I remembered that it's Yukke's side. (Sorry, Yukke fans. You know what I think of him XD) So I impishly had us go over to Miya's side and there was a better spot by some steps! and the gigantic speaker. I'm so very talented at ending up in front/beneath a speaker. But we hard earplugs this time, so it didn't harm my hearing AT ALL. For the first time in my concert going life, there was NO RINGING IN MY EARS the next morning.
Horse the Band came out first, and their NintendoXCore style was interesting and fun to say the least, but I didn't like the screaming vocals. Couldn't understand a damn thing he sang. Their MC's were dorky, though, so I can understand why MUCC asked them to open. ^_^ The guitarist had someone bring him a slice of pizza (How do I know? I helped pass it to him over the speaker) and after he took a few bites, he set it down on the ground. After knocking it over, the keyboardist picked it up and FLUNG IT INTO THE CROWD. Halfway into that song, IT WAS FLUNG BACK ONTO THE STAGE. It was epic funny; the keyboardist was cracking up. ^^
During their performance I got this MASSIVE pounding on my shoulder.

After a tear-down break, MUCC came on and I let Incoherants stand in front of me while I took the speaker/step behind her (she's a little shorter than me and her Kyouko costume was far more noticeable than my Akira). It ended up being a decent spot, but at first I was terrified that I wouldn't be able to see any part of Satochi besides his toes and drumsticks from where I was, because they had put GIANT FLOOR SCREENS ON EITHER SIDE OF HIM. What the bloody hell? But they were translucent under all lights but the red ones, so while he could never see me, I saw him just fine. ^^
<Cosplay gloat, because nearly all cosplayers do it for attention to some degree> Tatsurou was the first to notice us when he came over to show off his hairy ankle on top of the speaker. He only did that once all night, though, even though I moved stuff out of his way to make sure he didn't have to pay too much attention to doing so. But being the vocalist, he had to maintain composure so he didn't react too much that I saw. Incoherants says he grinned when he gave her a face full of crotch. ^^ Miya was off in his own little head twirling world so he didn't see squat for a while, but when he switched places with Yukke, the darling mushroom head totally saw us and grinned hysterically. He and Miya were obviously going to switch sides again later on, but we think he deliberately did so a few extra times to see Incoherants. ^^ Much to Miya's confusion.
After they came back from Backstage Land for a water break or whatever, Miya went back to his perch, looked right at us, smirked and shook his head.
Back to the actual concert.
For FUZZ and Anjabell, Tatsu asked us if we liked to dance. *scream* DO YOU LIKE TO DANCE? *SCREAM* THEN DANCE!! So everyone jumped up and danced when Yukke busted out his new Electric double bass and they started FUZZ. And might I add that I was very impressed that Tatsu managed to hit the Anjabell notes beautifully. His voice cracked more for other songs; not that one.
They pretty much had the exact same set list as the New York show. Tatsu was very interactive with all of us. He apologized for his broken engrish, thanked us a whole bunch, talked to Yukke...
(copy pasta from Incoherants' journal)
Tatsurou: I'm happy! Are you all happy?!
Crowd: *various screaming* YEEEEAAAAH.
Tatsurou: I'm happy! *then, to Yukke* Are you happy?!
Yukke: *nodnod*
Tatsurou: ARE YOU HAPPY???
Yukke: *into mic* YES.
Tatsurou: Are you... pervert?
Yukke: ?_________?
Tatsurou: Are you pervert?
Yukke: NO. Hootchie Mama!
Tatsurou: *SDFGSEJRgogh.* Hootchie Mama!
Crowd: ............. *lols forever*
Then for Bouzenjishitsu or whichever, he had us all sit (after a few attempts at conveying the message) and jump when queued. That was cool. ^^ And eventually he broke out a cam-corder and walked around the stage, then panned on the crowd. In his swoop to Miya, however, I noticed him linger on our corner a little longer than the other... XD So that's a DVD to look forward to.
Then they all said bye and went off stage forever. And everyone began changing, "ENCORE!" instead of the stupid "AN KO RE!" crap from yesteryear of American Jrock lore. I of course had to be a butt head and shout, "ONE MORE SONG!" instead, because I'm a rivethead first XD I stopped when Incoherants smacked me. :'(
They came out and did their encore of Saishuu Ressha and Libra, then said goodbye and went off stage forever again. The lights came back on and they were getting ready to herd the Autograph 100 into the cattle pen. My ticket had apparently popped out of my camisole, so when I reached down to get it, after groping myself several times, I had a slight panic attack. More than anything, I didn't want to be separated from Incoherants and Firenaux, so I HAD TO FIND IT. I went back to the speaker to look for it and the bouncer that was in front of us the whole time was like, "Is that it?" when he moved the speaker over an inch. OMASHU my ticket was there! I glomped the poor man and went into the cattle pen to wait.
Autograph mayhem
They were taking us 20 at a time, and leading us upstairs. MUCC were directly overhead with their backs to us. We sat there the whole time wondering if they were wondering if we were going to be there. ^^ We decided that we wanted to go near last if not actually last, for the sake of spending a few extra seconds with them. So we waited patiently, go our things to sign ready, only to be told we only could have one item signed. I selected my Ageha single insert, Incoherants her kimono sleeve after I suggested it to her, and Firenaux his wallet. Then we distributed the gifts she got for them, 4 little halloween toys that scream or sing when you smack the hell out of them. I would give Satochi his, she Tatsu's and Yukke's, and Firenaux Miya's. Because he loves Miya about as much as I love Satochi. Waved

Date: 2008-12-12 11:08 pm (UTC)HIS ANKLE WAS HAIRY! In a cute manly way. It wasn't excessive or anything, but he was totally showing it off because all four of them were dressed the same as at the NY show, anklet and spiderweb PJ pants and all.

Yukke: NO. Hootchie Mama!
LOLING FOREVER!! xD
Tatsuro just called Yukke "fresh" and smiled at the New York show, well after calling Miya "selfish" and Sato "simple minded" LOL. I think he switched to pervert because a lot of us had to inform him that "fresh" doesn't quite mean "ecchi" like he his dictionary suggested.
-edit-
Nice cosplay! Just saw the pic in your comments. XD

Date: 2008-12-14 09:16 pm (UTC)It was so weird, the ticket was nice and secure where it was and somehow flew out of the top and landed safely under the gigantic speaker on wheels. o_o;;; I'm so glad I found it, too.
