Are chickens more important than sick children, pregnant and scared teenage girls, and gay marriage? Seriously? SERIOUSLY? And we're a BLUE state? Does not compute.

Stats brought to you by the letters W, T, F, and My Fox LA.

Apparently. California, I am disappointed in you. Especially about Prop 8. Did everyone in Castro decide to stay home during election day?

Also, why is everyone against alternate energy? Was it worded badly?

[identity profile] rivetspoon.livejournal.com 2008-11-07 10:04 am (UTC)(link)
If France can have nucular energy, so can CA.

And yeah, really. Prop 4 fails, but 8 passes? I know who voted for 8, but I really want to know who voted for 4.

And get your butt on MSN, woman! Or some other IM. D: I miss you.

[identity profile] harusamemosuke.livejournal.com 2008-11-07 01:57 pm (UTC)(link)
but nuclear energy is totally not the way to go. There are sources of alternate energy that are clean and efficient (not just solar and wind power. I mean, there is even a way to burn coal cleanly. It's called... something. I'll think of it when I'm not half-asleep)

>.> People have strange priorities. Really.

I never go on MSN anymore. do you have gchat? Or would you be willing to go on Skype again?

[identity profile] rivetspoon.livejournal.com 2008-11-07 08:18 pm (UTC)(link)
I'd have to reinstall Skype, but other than that. Just never got around to it.

[identity profile] harusamemosuke.livejournal.com 2008-11-08 05:56 am (UTC)(link)
... Well. I suppose I can go back to MSN. >.> For you. I just found other chat programs that endeared themselves to me a lot more. Like gchat. That's pretty awesome. Check email and chat at the same time! Much easier for me at least. :D

[identity profile] rivetspoon.livejournal.com 2008-11-10 07:34 am (UTC)(link)
I hopped back on Skype.

[identity profile] harusamemosuke.livejournal.com 2008-11-10 08:33 am (UTC)(link)
On the night when I can't talk? Honey, we need to have a discussion about your timing.

[loves on anyways <3~)

[identity profile] rivetspoon.livejournal.com 2008-11-10 08:37 am (UTC)(link)
I meant I reinstalled it. XP

[identity profile] harusamemosuke.livejournal.com 2008-11-10 08:47 am (UTC)(link)
I see it! I feel so blessed that you would go that far for little old me. <3~

[identity profile] rivetspoon.livejournal.com 2008-11-10 08:51 am (UTC)(link)
Well, if Veronica ever had a moment to sit her butt down on the computer, it also would have been for her, but... Yeah. It's pretty much all for you XD

[identity profile] harusamemosuke.livejournal.com 2008-11-10 08:53 am (UTC)(link)
[feels special anyways, so there. |D]

Who is this Veronica? Should I be jealous?

[identity profile] banjocatbanjo.livejournal.com 2008-11-07 07:29 pm (UTC)(link)
Were you just playing devil's advocate in my post? Are you for or against gay marriage?

[identity profile] rivetspoon.livejournal.com 2008-11-07 08:15 pm (UTC)(link)
I don't support it but I won't go out of my way to ban it. Of all 12 Props for CA, 8 was probably the second lowest on my priority list. I certainly don't put animals that I plan on eating ahead of human beings.

[identity profile] urizanegao.livejournal.com 2008-11-07 08:58 pm (UTC)(link)
Tres douchey.

[identity profile] jojoferret.livejournal.com 2008-11-08 08:53 am (UTC)(link)
I'm truly baffled.

I don't quite understand Props 3 & 4; did people vote no to give additional funds to a children's hospital and voted against telling parents about a minor getting an abortion?

[identity profile] rivetspoon.livejournal.com 2008-11-10 07:38 am (UTC)(link)
Voting Yes on 3 was to make bonds to build more Children's hospitals; it did not pass.

4 was parental/elder sibling/guardian notification that a minor is getting an abortion. There were clauses for cases of potential/on going domestic abuse in the case of the notification, whole bunch of clauses that made this a pro-choicer's wet dream. And it didn't pass. By half a %.
